Low-voltage organic thin-film transistors

The final report from the 21st Telecommunications Educational Seminar focused on Organics thin-film transistors and related topics held in Ostrava at the 11th and 12th of June 2015.

The 21st Telecommunications Educational Seminar supported by the project "Development of Excellence of the Telecommunication Research Team in Relation to International Cooperation - CZ.1.07/2.3.00/20.0217" was held for two days in Ostrava at the room number EC3 at the 11th and 12th of June 2015.

This two days long seminar was organized with the kind help of Dr. Helena Gleskova from University of Strathclyde, she prepared for attendees extensive lecture entitled Low-voltage organic thin-film transistors. At the beginning of her talk she introduced her University, workplace and country where she is currently working with her husband.

The first main lecture part of this seminar was dealing with the organic electronics, its research and development or utilization in the industry. Also differences between usage of organic and inorganic materials were presented. The last part of her talk was aimed at presentation of excellent work results of Dr. Gleskova in given scientific field.

The second main part of this seminar was then devoted to the personal scientific consultations, establishing of universities internships and exchange visits of teachers and doctoral students.

Thanks to presented specialized lectures and demonstration our students and employees had opportunity to take a closer look into the problems connected with organics thin-film transistors.
